I went to a Franz Ferdinand concert on Sunday and I have to say that I kind of underestimated the power of the foreign lads. I thought the show was going to be boring since i wasn't really a fan but it turned out the other way. Rhea, Frances, Melissa, and I had so much fun, considering we got 6 free tickets courtesy of Frances and Sea World (there were only 4 of us so we just gave away the tickets to some random couple), we also danced, danced, sang our little hearts out along to songs that we know, and stomped our feet just like how the European boys did. The lighting was incredible, the boys were incredible-just from their stance, to their guitar moves, and to how synchronized they were on stomping their foot/feet to the beat. And now, I am proud convert fan of Franz Ferdinand and I just developed a crush on the "only voice", Alex Kaprandos.

There really isn't anything to say on this post except for here are the pictures from the franz ferdinand concert and uhm...i got ashlee's new album, and it's not even out yet. SSSHHH!

I cannot begin to narrate how the concert went down on Thursday. I pretty much don't know where to start. The show itself was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! We didn't get to see MewithoutYou and Dredg play because we went to the venue pretty late, but we did manage to get there just in time to see the blood brothers! the blood fucking brothers! Johnny "the immaculate dancer" Whitney instantaneously won frances and I's little hearts. They opened their set with 'Trash Flavored Trash' and i ultimately thought everyone was going to get crazy on th first note, but boy wasI wrong. The crowd was WEAK, weak as hell. Most of the people in the crowd was just standing there, doing nothing.
It was just france & I who was going crazy when they were playing. Clearly everyone was there JUST for Coheed. I didn't even feel any love from the crowd for the Blood Brothers except for some group of scenester girls in front and including us. ALthough they did put on a good show (not as good when they played at the Epicentre), I might say they do need to chill just a little bit on stage, but Johnny doesn't have to stop doing his sexeeh dances, that's fine by me. You should've seen him dance/sway along to 'Drop It Like It's Hot' while they were setting up, HE drops it like its hot!!

And then, on to coheed...this show was by far the best Coheed show i have been to. Everything was great. The elaborate props on stage were freaking awesome, the lightning was really good, the band was incredible, Claudio's voice is just sexy and was in good condition, and CLAUDIO HIMSELF WAS JUST IMMACULATE. He looked so freakingly good!The crowd was rowdier too. The pits were intense, the show over all was intense. As usual, Claudio fucked up the words for 'Blood Red Summer' again, it always happens, but he also messed up for 'The Suffering'. Rhea almost got into a fight with 2 short, fat girls. They kept on pushing us to the pit, not that we didn't like it but they were just annoying, so Rhea turned to their direction and was ready to throw a punch to the girl until I stepped in and told her that it is not worth it. Rhea also crowd surfed for the first time, HOORAY RHEA!!
